John Hayden - Lands on waivers Hayden (lower body) was placed on waivers Monday, per CapFriendly.
Impact Hayden underwent surgery March 20 to address a lower-body issue and was expected to make a full recovery in about 12 weeks. It appears as though he is bit ahead of that timeline, which could make him an option to play for AHL Coachella Valley in the Calder Cup Playoffs. Hayden notched 17 goals and 33 points in 47 games with the Firebirds during the 2022-23 regular season.

Andre Burakovsky - Expected to be fine for 2023-24 Burakovsky's lower-body injury is a tear in his groin, Kraken GM Ron Francis told Alison Lukan of Root Sports on Thursday.
Impact Burakovsky didn't play past Feb. 7 because of the injury, but Francis expects him to completely recover in time for the start of next season. The 28-year-old forward had 13 goals and 39 points in 49 outings in 2022-23. Burakovsky still has four seasons left on his five-year, $27.5 million contract.

Andrew Poturalski - Back earlier than expected Poturalski (lower body) played in AHL Coachella Valley's 3-2 triple-overtime win over Calgary on Monday.
Impact Poturalski had two PIM and four shots on goal in his first game action in three months. The 29-year-old was initially expected to miss 4-to-6 months after undergoing surgery in February, but he was able to return early and will look to contribute during the Firebirds' AHL playoff run.

Carson Soucy - Finishes solid season with Seattle Soucy picked up three hits and one blocked shot in 17:20 of ice time in Monday's Game 7 loss to the Stars.
Impact Soucy had a solid second season with the Kraken in 2022-23, picking up 16 points, 68 PIM, 87 shots, 143 hits and 96 blocks through 78 regular-season games before adding two points and 36 hits through 14 postseason appearances while regularly skating on the team's bottom pairing. The 28-year-old defender is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, and it remains to be seen if he'll re-sign with Seattle. Whichever team he ends up with, look for Soucy to continue to produce similar numbers while skating in a bottom-four role.

Jesper Froden - Lands on waivers Froden was placed on waivers Tuesday.
Impact Froden picked up four assists in 14 games with Seattle during the regular season in 2022-23. He also played in one playoff contest for the Kraken. The 28-year-old forward racked up 25 goals and 47 points in 44 AHL appearances with Coachella Valley this campaign.

Chris Driedger - Returns to AHL Driedger was reassigned to AHL Coachella Valley on Tuesday, per CapFriendly.
Impact Driedger was with the big club as the No. 3 goalie during the Kraken's playoff run, which ended Monday. He'll likely resume a backup role behind Joey Daccord with the Firebirds as they continue in the AHL playoffs.

Tye Kartye - Joining AHL team Kartye was reassigned to AHL Coachella Valley on Tuesday, per CapFriendly.
Impact Kartye made an excellent first impression during his 10-game stint in the NHL during the playoffs. He racked up three goals, two assists, 44 hits and a plus-6 rating while playing on a line with Jordan Eberle and Matty Beniers. That level of production will likely earn Kartye a long look during training camp in the fall as he looks to break camp with the Kraken in 2023-24.
