Willi Castro - Swipes another bag Castro went 2-for-5 with a run and a stolen base against Houston in an extra-inning victory Monday.
Impact Castro has been surging at the plate and on the basepaths recently, going 8-for-18 with four steals over his past five games. He's also racked up two homers, three RBI and six runs over that span, helping him gain some momentum as a fantasy waiver-wire add. Castro was seeing sporadic playing time earlier in the campaign but has become a fixture in the lineup of late, in part due to his ability to play multiple positions in both the outfield and infield.

Ryan Jeffers - Belts game-winning homer Jeffers went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in Monday's 10-inning win over the Astros.
Impact Jeffers already had two hits when he came to the plate with the game tied in the top of the 10th. The backstop plated what proved to be the winning runs with a two-run blast to left field. Jeffers has homered twice over his past 12 at-bats after notching just one long ball across his first 25 contests of the campaign. Christian Vazquez has yet to go deep this season and is slashing a paltry .223/.296/.250, so the door is open for Jeffers to earn more playing time if he continues to swing a hot bat.

Sonny Gray - Settles for another no-decision Gray allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits and three walks while striking out three batters over six-plus innings in a no-decision against Houston on Monday.
Impact Gray sailed through six frames but was pulled after allowing the first two batters he faced in the seventh to reach base. A Jose Altuve grand slam off Brock Stewart allowed both those runners to score and wiped out Minnesota's lead, causing Gray to take his fifth consecutive no-decision. The right-hander didn't have his best stuff Monday -- the three punchouts were his fewest since his first start of the campaign, and he notched only seven swinging strikes -- but he did manage to record his first quality start of May. Gray is still sporting an excellent 1.94 ERA, but he's been less dominant of late, giving up 10 earned runs over his past 25.1 innings.
